here's an article on a unique population in quebec. it's pretty much the reason i'm concerned about diversity in the PHA gene other than the PHA defect and that alternative alleles in the carrier lines will be lost, or concentrated in such a few number, that any diversity in that gene will be lost.
and, here's another article on why drugs don't work for everyone (including cattle).
