I was there, and purchased lot #'s 1B and 31.    I thought there was a lot of quality, and the sale averages seemed very strong.

I have a few (those I bid on)

1A - 18,000

1B through 1E sold as group bids with choice to high bidder.  Prices for these heifers ranged from 7,500 to 3,200.  High was 1C and low was 1D.  1B was 5,000.

Lots 23 and 23A brought about 5,000 each.

Lot 41 brought 2,300

Lot 31 brought 2,600

Lot 32 brought 2,200

Some of the open heifers lot numbers 55 and up sold very strong.  I believe that lot 55 brought in excess of 5,000, and I believe it was lot 57 (a red heifer) that was over 7,000.

I thought it was a GREAT Sale!!!!!!!!!!  Until I seen Steve Watson having a guy bid up some of his heifers.  I know this happens but it was way to obvious.

It happens, but it only works if I'm willing to keep bidding.  I go in with an amount on an animal that I will not exceed.
