In your opinion, what is the best order to do the following in:  Rinse (and all that comes with it), Feed, cattle exercise?

How much exercise (walking, sticking, etc.) do you try to do during a week with your show calves?

I would say it depends on your set up. where are they excersing?  do they get dirty?? if so i would say excersise, feed, rinse. but if they dont get dirty i would feed, rinse, excersise, or rinse, feed, excersise

i always exercise first because when the calves work up a sweat, they start to lose hair. then we rinse to cool them back down. lastly, we make sure that they are mostly dry when we put them in the cooler to feed.

once the show season starts, i only work hair in the cooler, and i don't have to practice with the stick, because my heifer is so tame  ;D

we walk about 1 mile every morning @ 5:30, just around our acreage
