Blood samples

We took blood from 23 head today for the BioPryn pregnancy test and 3 for TH and PHA. On one of the TH/PHA samples I could only get 1cc collected and the same goes for 2 or 3 of the pregnancy samples. Do you think they'll go ahead and test them because it says to collect at least 2cc's? Thanks

we've sent samples to them before with about 1cc (or less) and they were able to test it.  I called them before sending it and they said they like extra in case they need to retest.

Thanks that's good to know. It depends on the cow but some of them are really tough to get any blood from. The Maine cows were tough but the shorthorn we drew from was really easy. Just depends on the cow.

agreed. plus we've had it coming spurting out...that is, until we get the tube on it and then it stops bleeding. it can be very 'challenging' to get blood sometimes.
