Ok, as I like to call them- another stupid "Red" question! I have a heifer that hasn't calved yet. Due next week. Noticed she was really bagged up. Caught one of the bad little girls nursing off her. She kicks them away but since she is a former show girl, she's pretty used to be handled. Now my question- will this affect the colostrum for the calf?

Red- never afraid to ask! :)))

Hey thnx red the calf is a heifer she is a who made who doublestuff out of a first calf heifer. Hey about the bred heifer and her bag of milk you should separate her because we had the same problem and the vet said if that happends they will lose their colostrum.

Thanks BigGH! I'm thinking we might do that. We'll probably give the calf some extra colostrum when it's born just to be on the safe side.
Are you showing the calf?
