He started as a redshirt freshman at K-State at offensive center I believe. The regular guy went down so his first game was against Oklahoma and of course he was lined up against a fifth year senior his first game. Three year starter and i suppose he should start his final year but has battled Hand and wrist injuries. I don't hardly know them but his granddad Waldo Jarmin is and was a hard working tough old boot kind a guy who farmed right next to us. They are just a bunch of hard working, damn good people and when you get a local kid playng d-1 sports it is kinda cool. I know Brooke Beringer who played quarterback for Nebraska the one national champ year was from Goodland also. Kinda the same kind of story. It is kinda cool...my dad played baseball at K-State in the 50's. There was a black kid on the the team named Woods. This was just as segregration was just starting to even out and what not. Anyway, it turns out this woods guy ended up in a military career and ended up being the father of Tiger Woods. Its not always about winning and loosing ...the stories behind the atheletes and the hard work they put in should be appreciated. If you butted heads with Bedore, that would be bragging rights in itself I would think.
