Funny how OU and OSU recruit heavily in Texas and Texas has team policy against recruiting in Oklahoma.  Both OU and OSU have a higher percentage of Texas players than Oklahoma players.  Not trying to get a rucus going just stating some facts.

Yep, Penn State vs. Texas.  Gonna be a good game I think.  If Penn State can have a good defensive game, they have a great shot at winning I would say.

I love Joe Pa as a coach and have a lot of respect for him but I don't think they've played as tough a schedule as a lot of teams in the Top 10. Texas as well as several other teams up there could handle them. JMHO

AGH! 3 games without a touchdown for the Buckeyes. I'm to the point of kicking KK.  ;)

First of all congrats to TX Tech, they are for real.

A Matthew Stafford x Colt McCoy matchup in the BCS Title Game is officially off the radar as is my prediction they would play for it. They may still be a year or so away IF they keep their nucleus together. They did have their chances against FL but you have to capitalize on those opportunities against a team of their caliber. I guess being the 3rd best team is what I think is the top conference in America isn't bad. Nothing against the Big 12, they are sure strong this year as well. I'm kind of at a loss who will play for the Title now. I think one of them will be the SEC Champ and who nows who the other will be. TX Tech has a tough row to hoe as does many of the Top teams.

Go Dawgs !!! (dog)

It was an amazing game last night, I couldn't believe TX Tech came back and won.  Maybe an SEC champ vs. Penn St. in the title game now.

If tech or Oklahoma State can run the table and win the big 12 I believe that they need to be in the BCS title game

It should be the winner of the SEC vs winner of the BIG 12.  I dont want to see Penn State get in there.  I love Paterno, I just think they will get crushed in a title game.  Big Ten is way too weak.

Florida is scary good.  Right now Florida would beat the snot out of any other team in the country, except for maybe Alabama & I think they would beat them by a couple TD's.  In their last 3 games, they have put up 51 on LSU, 63 on UK & 49 on UGA.  Those are 3 pretty good defenses!!!  And unlike the Big 12, they play defense & held UGA to only 3 points until very late in the game.  Penn St would get beat worse than Ohio St. did 2 years ago, if they face Florida.  The Big 12 Champ would make a better game, but I still think that the Gators would beat them by close to 3 TD's.

If Tech loses two games, which is very possible. Texas would be back in the Big 12 Championship Game. I know wishful thinking.

I said before I think no one escapes the Big 12 South unscathed, and I still believe it.  Oklahoma State's gonna have their hands full with Tech this weekend in Lubbock. I hope OSU can get it done, but I'm not bettin' the farm either way.  I think OU's gonna give Tech all they want in Norman, though.  One Oklahoma team or the other (or maybe both) will break TT's perfect record though, I believe.  TU, OSU and OU in three consecutive weeks is a tough order to fill.

If I had my wishes (and hey, it could just as easily happen as not), OSU beats TT, TT beats OU, OSU beats OU, then OSU, TT and TU finish with one loss each, and OU with 3 (sorry, Sooners). In any case with OSU, TT and OU all yet to play one another, somebody's gonna end up with another loss or two.  TU's only remaining challenge is A&M (in College Station, I believe) - it shouldn't be a problem, but it might accidentally turn out to be.  My guess is that, when it's all said and done, it still puts TU on top of the south, which in all honesty is the team I think needs to be representing us in the end.

It'll be a shame if a Big 12 team doesn't get to play in the national championship.  We could well have the 4 best teams in the country, definitely 4 of the best, just down here beatin' up on each other...

What I don't understand is the Big 12 Championship Game.  We are punishing ourselves by having it.  Let me explain....If Texas is the South Champion and Missouri is the North Champion then by proxy Texas would be the Big 12 Champion as they have previously played and Texas won.  This has happened in several years past as well.  It seems to me that the other conferences (excluding SEC as they have a Championship Game as well) benefit from us playing an extra game to perhaps eliminate the better team if they are having an off night.    (argue

They make this college fb thing harder and more complicated than it needs to be.

They need to have an 11 game conference schedule in the big 12 with no championship game.  Everyone plays everybody.  Make the big rivalrys/possible championship games the first weekend in Dec.  The winner goes to a big bow/possible national championship.

Notre Dame's deal is the biggest crock in college football.  Make them join the big ten if they want in the BCS deal.  The big ten would then have 12 teams and could play an 11 game conference schedule.

Notre Dame gets the best of both worlds.  They get to keep all their TV and bowl money for themselves and yet they get to go to the BCS bowls if they qualify.

The Big 12 championship game has flipped up a Big 12 team playing for the national title several times.

The whole BCS deal is joke too as far as I'm concerned.  There was nothing wrong with old way except that the Big 10 winner had to play the Pac 10 winner in the rose bowl no matter what the rankings.  They could have just left it the way it was except allowing the Big 10 or Pac 10 winner if ranked #1 or 2 play in another bowl or let another conference winner if ranked 1 or 2 into the Rose Bowl.  It was really that simple.....

On a side note I would give anything to be able to watch a NU-OU game where both teams are actually good... and after the game the oranges go flying from the stands onto the field.  That was the good ole days.....

Ahhh the good old days when it was either KSU or UN or CU battling for the North and UT, OU for the South.  And no matter who won someone was going to the National Championship or at least win their BCS bowl.

We sure feel your pain on being punished for having a Championship Game as well as all the good teams beating up on each other. I sure think the Big 12 and SEC are the Top Conferences in the NCAA. I sure hope they can settle the BCS Nat'l Championship between them.

NEW POLLS OUT  - Looks like a Big 12 vs SEC would be a nice matchup in title game.  What will be a interesting game is the Tech vs. OU.  What happens if OU beats tech?  Who goes to Big 12 Championship for south if no one loses again?
