i couldn't really tear my barn down as it's grandfathered without permits, so i couldn't make a proper cement floor with a footer for walls/posts without a major hassle.  I replaced some posts and put a bracket in the cement so at least those posts would never rot.  i made it so i could replace the treated footers. i cemented the floor with five gallon buckets of cement to keep the squirrels and gophers out who have demolished almost the entire floors of the stalls. I am putting a wood shop together in half the barn. hopefully the cement floor won't rot the footers too bad from wicked soil moisture.

mine is not the cool barn setup.  original link is.

top pic, not the most glamorous setup, cabinets need a bench top.

machinery is mostly robland with various additional lathes, drill press, jointer etc.

floor isn't really setup for metal shop.  :(

below pic is almost dug out for that section.  to the right is already complete but needs a matt.

only one 12x12 section to go.

i put in a few 220 (30-50 amp depending on machinery, welder), a few 110 (20 amp), all new conduit, a grounded load center with dedicated shut-off.

cow section of barn is other half containing squeeze, tie outs, more electricity etc.

need to put sliding door on.

yeah, sorta hokie. cobwebs optional.
