Today my teacher told me this scary "statistic" (although I have done research and have found nothing that states any such thing,) that in 50 years 100% of the Earth's top soil will be gone. What are your thoughts on this? Do you agree or disagree with this statement? If in agreement what are some ways we could slow this process? What would it mean for the cattle industry, farming industry, and the population as a whole? It's scary to think about what lays ahead for my future, everyday it seems as if something else is going wrong on planet earth and it's heading down the gutter.
