Black baldy feeder steer for sale. I bought him as a county fair steer but he is too high-strung for my young son to handle. Gonna play safe on this one rather than get him hurt or discouraged.
Steer has been wormed. implanted and has had shots. He's on feed and gaining well over 3 pounds/day on about 15 pounds of feed/day. Could go right into a feedlot at full feed. He'll grow and make you some money at market.
Broke to tie and have led him a bit.
He'll continue to grow well and needs to go in a feedlot with more cattle. My facilities are limited at this time.
Out of a baldy cow and big Angus bull.
He weighs 650-700 pounds. Bought him in early Oct weighed 460 (He's growing!)
Sell for local feeder price of $1.20/pound. Will swap for other feeder steer/heifer that is calm and about same size. Doesn't have to be a show steer, I need one for our fair auction in July.
I'm near Chapin, IL 62628. Weigh facilities are two miles away.
