The first is of the 5 BBQ's we had going for a party of 250, We cooked 55 tri-tip, 110 lbs of chicken breast, 50 lbs of pork loin, 50 pounds of onions, 4 pans cheesy potatoes, 4 pans ranch style beans (8 gallons)
The other is of my Dr. Who son / Ali Heifer after her first bath and the 4th time on a halter. Picture is blurry I had been painting and did not realize I had a big white thumb print on the lens.

The last one is something I saw while I was at a conference in Illinois, anyone know what those are in the tree, did not have my ready glasses could not read it.

What do you use for a BBQ/Smoker?  I was looking at a Klose BBQ Pit and just saw a Yoder Smoker at Cabela's that looked really good.

The tow behind is a Klose, he has had it for ever. The drum smokers we made, we just put a Weber grill top on it to smoke, the drum lid to slow cook.

LLBux That makes sense, since it was all the same kind of tree that lined the road, and they all had them.

The Ash Borer is starting to spread through IL and wiping out a lot of Ash forests.

As a Shop teacher and woodworker, I personally hate the little buggers!

250 people!  (clapping)

That is a lot of food to cook.  We had get togethers of 20 with burgers and dogs and I feel busy.

We have been helping my cousin do this party for the last 5 years. I sliced 45 tri-tip and all of the pork loin, We have a slicer, and it made it through the pork and 45 tri-tip before it shorted out (bad on switch) The tri-tip in the drums is pretty easy hang it, place it i n the drum and check temp at an hour and a half. The only time it gets real hectic is just prior to serving (we do 2 rounds) getting everything cut and ready in a short period of time gets everyone hopping. There were 7 of us working on it so it was not to bad.
