I am not that big into shorthorns, but wanted to try a sullivan bull this year to cahnge things up.  I know that Salute calves can come big, but are usually pretty good and Final Solution calves are just probably just starting to hit the gound.  What are your opinions of these bull and how are they phenotypically different?

From what  I've seen, Salute is really inconsistant.  Sometimes he will throw a darn good one, but for every one of those good ones, I've seen a train wreck.....We won't be using either bull, but I know lots of people who really want to use Salute..

I have 2 salutes on the ground, Oct solid white heifer that was 85# unassisted, and looks pretty good, and got my second one sat 75# heifer unassisted took about 2 good grunts for the cow to get it out, too early to tell about looks but for its size it has got a lot of bone.  even though salute is up to $50 i'll use more

I have not seen a lot of Salute calves but from what I have seen the heifers look pretty good but the steers I saw were terrible.
