Sorry Knabe my scanner isn't working for a picture of Knight Rider....  BUT this is our new bull out of my daughters showheifer last year.  Were pretty proud of him.  He stood reserve under a big bull at county fair this weekend.  He's been champion maine bull 3 times now and stood second at Jr. Nationals.  I think were going to have fun with this little guy as he grows up.

His name is Funk's Mucho Dinero.  Sire Major's Money Man Dam:  Majors Delilah (HAA StockmanxCalberta Hustler)  He's a March 2 baby, and at Jr. Nationals he weighed 378 scale saturday said 400lbs.

We are showing his mom and her full sister this year they were at Jr. Nationals together.  We have them bred the same way for next year.  Let's hope they keep coming this good lol, I only used 2 bulls this year Money Man and Gig. Joe. (and one mama's boy on my simmi cow)

Were not sure what to do with him yet lol to tell you the truth!  SD thought a lot about him at Jr. Nationals.  Promoting a bull costs lots of $$, something I lack alot of to be honest with you.  Right now he's for sale.  Kinda young to promote him.  He's being shown as a cow calf pair with his mama right now also.

Hard to tell by the picture, but he's one thick little booger.

he looks a little like his dad up front.  i like that he's standing on level ground for the pic so as to not disquise excessive "growthiness".  seems to have a good area behind his shoulder.  i can see his thckness up top with the way he rounds from front to back.  how would you rate his growthiness (not weight, just looks) compared to your other MMM calves?

also, thanks for the pic. ;)

hmmmm tough one to gauge.  I'll have to admit Mucho and his mama has led a pampered life so far.  The mother was my daughters first show heifer so she has been fed well, so that helps with her milking.  At. Jr. Nationals, he wasn't the tallest calf in the class.  I do think he was the thickest though.

My other Money Man calves are heifers.  I think if they would have led his life they would be his size.  They are more feminine and are a tad smaller than him.  All my Money Man calves have a distinct look to them and are really consistant even though they are out of a hodge podge of cows and heifers.  I really don't have one that I dislike.  Even out of our money man bull I like the consistancy (we do have 2 sets of twins and the ones the mama's didn't take look rough but that is expected here)    To his credit though, the minute he came out I knew he was special.  I think genetically and phenotypically he's a darn good bull calf.

I love your pics - this one as well as the one of your daughter, lamb, etc at your fair.  If you could downsize them just a little, we could see the 'whole' picture!  Thanks!

i can't tell, but i think that's the same gentleman who judged the san benito county fair last year.  i thought he did a good job, especially on showmanship.

BCC if I can get him to hold still I sure will try.  Our herd bull is named Major's Boom Box (I didn't name him lol).  He was designed to be a calving ease bull.  Thick as can be though. Only thing I don't like is he's a tad short.  But hey, do we eat them?  He was used one breeding season by Major's and they sold some nice steers off of him.

I will attest to his thickness and wow factor! Great news and excellent picture of him and your daughter. She is a powerhouse herself.

I did feel humbled in his presence at jr. nationals. Or was that because of red and Justme?
