Genetic Connections in Springfield Ohio

Has anybody done business with this place? Any body know anything about their owner Roger Clark? I would really like to know any info you have had.....how has your experience with them turned out?

Good people to work with! However, I've only used them for getting nitrogen in the tank and ordering semen. I know a few people that have had bulls there and have heard no complaints from them.

I have called them when I had questions on ET work they hadn't even done. They were happy to answer my questions and offered a tour to groups or individuals. They were extremely helpful in helping me find a vet that would come to the farm and sex calves for me.

I have only had one experience with Genetic Connections and it was very good. After getting two shipments of very poor quality semen from two other studs(, it was suggested by another breeder that we try collecting him at Genetic Connections.( Both these previous studs assured me the semen was flush quality semen, yet when it arrived, I had it checked and it did not pass. Both times it was extremely poor quality semen.) The semen they bottled was very high quality and I found them extremely good to deal with. Their front office was excellent in keeping me updated with the progress of the collection and the shipping to Canada.

If my experience is not an exception, I think this is a reputable stud.
