Getting excited! We brought the heifer (embryo calf) and recip cow (carrying the same embryo) up to clip and clean up for our sale this coming weekend. Here is a picture of my middle daughter with the cow (in the red chute) and the show heifer that is a flush mate to the pregnancy that she is carrying (in the clipping chute). I know it is not the best, but I was just trying to capture the preparation. You can not see my oldest daughter (she is to the left, angry I had my camera out!).
That heifer just rocks! My middle daughter is going to have a great year showing that heifer. She was born in late March, and we weighed her today, she was 766 pounds. Such a sweet personality! My oldest daughter is regretting putting the recip cow (she owns the cow) and resulting pregnancy in the sale now! We have a fall bull calf from this same mating (a flush mate also), and he stands on tons of bone and muscle! Club King can really make some nice cattle!
Here is a you tube of the dam of the embryo: http://youtu.be/n_AKbYrdQv4

The recip cow is a big blazed face Trademark daughter. She belongs to my oldest daughter, and she is keeping back the really nice heifer calf she had this year (a red, white faced Shear Force granddaughter). Hoping to get her to some shows.
The cow is lot 2 in our sale, catalog here: http://cattleindemand.com/pdfs/Fall%20Harvest%202013.pdf
