growing hair, any tips?

Does anybody have tips on growing hair on a fair steer? I can do just about anything but put him in a walk-in cooler. Just wondering if anybody has any home tips that have worked for them.

Cool and dark stall, fans, rinse, brush and brush some more. Put him on SHAGG, GROW N SHINE or implants.

We have been combing Haired Up & melatonin implants from puremelatonin.com on steers....awesome results & clients couldn't be happier.

As for heifers that will be shown in the fall, Haired Up alone mainly.  Added bonus is that Haired Up is fertility supported product for females.

Yeah, genetics are the #1 factor, but if you need to grow hair with a cool room, you can try to make shift it by keeping the calf as cool as possible with fans, daily rinsing, and working dead hair out.
