I almost hate to post this w/ all the horrible weather all around. This has taken endless hours to get to where I want it.

I got it through a place at the Ohio Beef Expo. Stoney Fork from TN or something like that. I'll have to double check.
Actually it's a rain guage.

I planted trees a number of years ago now have too much shade except for a few areas. Put in Vinca, Lambs Ears and a Hydrangea last week. Will post pictures if they live long enough.

Not very darn well this year.  TOOO wet.  Everythings just sitting waiting on the sun to shine and their feet to dry out a bit.  Even my cucumbers don't want to grow.  :'(

cucumbers don't like wet feet for sure! Next time you plant them add some epsom salts to the soil. It helps prevent the ends from rotting.

very pretty roses.
Ditto! What is the variety name of those Pink Roses?

GB

they are called Aromatherapy from Jackson & Perkins. I like roses w/ a strong fragrance so base my buying on that.

Thanks!  <party>

Have been sick for about a week and then pulled some 12 hour days at work so have not had as much time to look after my flowers as I would like, Took some pics this afternoon. The first two are of our most recent expansion of our Hosta Gardens. My wife works at a wholesale perennial grower where she works only with Hostas. They sell about 800,000 Hostas annually. She even has her name on a patend for one variety that she discovered while working there. The third pic is kind of in between blooming periods right now but will show some nice color again soon. The last is showing a lot of color now but if I had taken this a month ago it would have looked a lot different and will look different in another month or so. These are all perennials. As I said before, with my wife working for a grower, we get a lot of free plants that are extras or discontinued stuff or samples, etc. I love to work in the flowers as I find it very relaxing.I would rather be pulling weeds in my gardens than fishing or Golfing.  I also have a fairly large vegetable garden as well.
