Well we are nearing the end of our first year of our foundations sponsoring beef projects, we were able to sponsor 2 heifer projects and one steer project.
Both the girls with the heifer projects have done a great job, all though the heifers were from to different ends of the spectrum. A registered Angus Heifer from Colburn Cattle and a backyard raised commercial heifer, both girls have done an outstanding job with them.
The steer project will head for the fair next week, the young man has done a great job getting him finished and ready for market.
Hopefully the upcoming year works out as well as this year. The first picture is the Angus heifer, the second is the grade heifer and the third is the steer.
