GB, You are wrong!! Just because there is more Latinos here illegally than any other just makes them stand out more.I don't like supporting any illegal aliens. However My father's youngest sister chose to teach the word of jesus christ - left this country ( probably without a passport ) and spoke the word in a far away country  for years and years- married a man from another country . They raised 3 children and lived like kings in a very poor ( at the time) country.
When they decided to return after living like "kings" in the "other country " we ( US) gave then no social security and no favors. However  I think most everyone here in the US appreciates what they spoke and gives to this family "under the radar and without paying taxes" . My aunt and uncle live in comfort but nothing special.
I think the United states  is what it is.  Global economy -world trade.

there already is an immigrant tax if you do it legally.  it costs time and money to become a citizen.  you also have to learn english.

some illegals file income tax returns and get a refund and send their kids to schools.  they violate density rules, hence pay less property tax which pays for schools.

Sue , I think that is great that she went & spoke the word of Jesus Christ. But , by the same token she shouldn't receive social security if she didn't pay into it. As far as her husband goes , he shouldn't receive any benefits if he is here as an illegal.
