We were MORE THAN blessed at Ozark Empire Fair this year. I think the best year yet (thumbsup). We took 7 head, three heifers (two bred and owned) and 4 bulls (all bred and owned, 2 3/4 bloods and 2 purebreds). So here is how we did:
On the junior show day (Friday), in the percentage division, our Jeff Miller heifer won champion jr heifer, but did not get pulled up for overall grand or reserve. Our Make It Rain bull won Champion percentage bull, and our little bull out of our Upgrade heifer we showed last year was Reserve Champion percentage bull. In the Purebred Division, our Grandmaster was champion Sr heifer, our Fat Butt April heifer won her class, and our red Rendition Twins were first and second in class, with the first place bull going on to win Reserve Champion Simmental bull.
On the open show day (Saturday), the Jeff Miller Upgrade 3/4 blood was again champion Jr Heifer. Our make It Rain bull was Reserve Champion Percentage (he is an Oct). In the Purebred show, our Fat Butt won her class again. We ended up with Junior Herdsman award, and won the Best Head of 6 class.
