elections are ceremonial, they don't really change anything.  i think we probably have a more permanent upper class than what we tried to get away from.

You get the government you elect.

Just like New Orleans, you keep voting in corrupt politicians for generations they will leave you to die as the levees break!

You keep voting in big spending congressmen they will tax your children into slavery. Liberty is our only entitlement and that is all the government should guarantee. We should have the freedom to succeed and/or fail with as little interference from government as possible.
