We are going to breed about 1/3 of our cows for steers this year. All cows are free of PHA and Th and all the calves will be considered terminal so sire status will not matter. These cows are mostly Comm Angus from Duff and Ohlde, Some have a 1/4 Fleckvieh, some are out of cunia sons on the ohlde cows. We will need to add some frame, hair and power.

just for grins, but does any of ohlde's herefords fit that bill producing an f1 "black baldie" show. it probably won't address frame, hair, power, but would have good hybrid vigor.

I am sure you know Thiels over by Upper Sandusky. When he uses Pale Face and Who on his cows they get big. Not sure why. I have seen Pale Face throw some size.
I have to say SUnseeker but don't know if they will ahve enough size. ALmost Famous can also throw some larger ones. This deal sure is a mess of trial and error. What works on some cows doesn't on others.
