I would like to know what to do to get more top and less of a "pregnant" looking gut. I know clipping and stuff can help but he has a big barrel belly. I am switching him to Umbarger Breeder Grower. I will attatch a pic but its not that great. I go and pick him up Saturday from the people I am buying him from.

With rare exceptions, you can't have too much guts in a steer.  That steer does not have too much middle.

Unless he is eating way to much hay I would say he is just at a stage in his development, they grow, they belly up, they grow again. Make sure he is getting 2 to 3 percent of his weight in quality feed and about 5 pounds ( a flake) of hay a day.
As far as a top he either will have it when's hey grown or he won't, feed him right and make sure gets the needed protein and fat in his diet and he should be fine.
