We had a "banner day" at CWA this year! Our yearling heifer (out of a Net Worth son) was Reserve Champion Jr Yearling. Our sale heifer calf placed third in class (not pictured), the bull calf placed fourth in class, and the cow/calf pair was 5th in a really tough class. All in all a very successful event. Over 375 black Angus were shown.
The highlight was showing in the RBC Beef Supreme. Champions from major shows across North America compete for $10,000! It was an honor to even be out there among such great cattle. I was taking pics on my phone the whole time haha! The last pic is my wife and I coming into the ring under the spotlights. I was nervous as hell.
