depends on what you like to eat. There are some good restaurants in the Short North which isn't far from the fairgrounds. We usually show in the junior show and I like to watch the sales. One of the largest Maine sales for Expo's. There is also a place called Easton. The founder of Abercombie and Victoria Secret built a place that is all outdoors type of shopping eating etc.  It is pretty easy to get too. There is quite a bit of construction at the moment. It is more confusing if you got off in the downtown area, but fairgrounds you should be alright. There is also brewery district and arena district as well. You won't starve. Usually have 15 or so display bulls.

I will be there. Tons of good places to eat just a few miles north of the fairgrounds. Just buzz up 71N to the Polaris area or like OH Breeder said, short north is really neat. My personal favorite is a little choke and puke 40 minutes north of Columbus called Barbs Diner. Its in Mt vernon. Old lady used to run the restaurant for the local stockyard. Best breakfast known to man, especially after a long night.

Havent heard much about whats going. I like to go every year and get as many catalogs as I can carry :)

We will be there. My favorite place is the north star market. Literally every kind of food from all over the world made by people who have grown up making the food their whole life. It's amazing. Not sure where exactly it is but I'm sure you can google it

Thanks OH. I love that place, it's always better to explore than to eat at chain restraunts, I have such a appreciation for small family made goods like the north star foods and the market setting is unlike any other.

I have been a few times to the expo, I know theres a German place that's good, and  we stumbled into a fancy shopping area that had a lot of restaurants...don't know if I could find it again, its been a couple of years since the last time we went. Hows the sales been? is the quality still there? From the photos being posted I would assume so  (clapping)

I will for sure check out the lowlines. Never seen em before. This will be my first cattle show/expo I have attended since I got on steerplanet. I will be the guy in the trevor grey cattle co jacket :) Feel free to say hey or to tell me to go to hell. I wont take it personally. Always enjoy watching the sales way more then the shows. I can also help out anybody who needs it. I cant clip but anything else is fine. I can sample drinks to make sure they pass inspection, sample your flavor of chewing tobacco or just shoot the breeze. Its always a really good sale IMO and the seats are full.
