I saw this picture on Ranchers.net." International Auction 1946"
Does anyone have a story to go with the picture?

I suppose the reason the International died is because, people heard nobody was going anymore because there were too many people there.

My grandpa and great uncle drove cattle to a box car and went every year.  In fact that's George Sr in the hat and trench coat left hand corner. :)    No really I will ask dad about this one.

Very cool picture!

I would love to know the story behind this as well.

I'd also love to be the guy selling cattle when a crowd like shows up!

Seriously- This was the year Shorthorn started it's National Lassie Assoication, the 1st meeting my grandmother attended in a nice restuarant in Chicago.  We have the very menu- the back of the menu goes into great details about how great shorthorn beef . I have to do more digging to find this picture and information about it??
