WHen I was growing up as a kid, we use to have something called a corn cutter. We used it to cut corn and brush etc. It looked like a machete but blade was little different.
I went on ebay and I can only find Machete's and the larges is 24". We had 24 plus blades on them. Any ideas where I might find one. Or should I get crafty and just make one from steel. Or does anyone even know what I am talking about ???

do you need just to borrow one? I have one here. We use it to cut canna bulbs down in the fall.
Also Union Tools makes them.

Got to thinkin' may just make one REd. Can't seem to find one long enough and hard enough to deal with brush. Looked for a rambo type jungle machete but not easy to find.

Me and my dad made a couple a  few years back to cut out  Shattercane.  Worked like a charm.  We used an old one that Grandpa had as a template.
