A couple years ago I had this trouble making bull calf, Shorthorn/Hereford cross that I swapped for 2 loads of stone.
That he was named Diablo at one week old pretty much tells the story.
Anyway, I went over to look at him yesterday and he has a lot of the shape of my Shorthorn bull, but he throws his back legs out a little when he runs and he just does not seem at ease in his body. He is kind of posty, not as bad as in this picture, but somewhat.
He was out of a first calf heifer that wasn't much and had kind of crooked legs. I sent her to the butcher.
The guy overfeeds him, would being fat make him move like that?
Can you tell me what is wrong with him? (other than being cross bred)
