Sure hated to hear that Andy Griffith died this morning. His shows were sure a part of my life growing up.

Yea, as a father of 3 daughters, it sometimes gets embarassing watching a "primetime sitcom" with them. But then maybe I'm just too old fashioned.
I have one boy and one girl both under 4. Agree with all the above statements except Doc being too old fashioned.vanridge said:Doc said:commercialfarmer said:It was just nice to have shows that the whole family could watch. Now you have cartoons with cuss words.

I have 4 boys and a girl. The boys enjoy watching Dukes of Hazzard, Bonanza, and Beverly Hill Billies. We bought them on DVD so that they don't watch the stuff on TV nowadays. They are still young though. My mother loved Matlock. They don't make shows like that anymore.
