Red Angus breed loses two influential breeders

The R A breed lost two influential breeders last week. Travis Pieper, Pieper Red Angus, Haysprings, NE and Rex James, James Red Angus, Searsboro, IA. Both gentlemen were known for their exceelent quality breeding programs, the loss of these two will no doubt impact the breed as a whole.

I knew about Travis, I put it here on the site, but I had not Idea bout Rex James, that is awful, we have shown cattle from them, they are an awesome family too.
what a loss from both of them. Their families are and were instrumental in making the Red Angus breed what it is today.  Thanks for the info on Rex James
