We are offering for sale a "Shorthorn Plus" cow with a March 1, 2011 heifer calf. The price for both is $1,800. We are posting this item again to answer some questions we have received over the phone.
The cow is registered with the American Shorthorn Association as Hillside Sally (*xAR40960). She is an April 18, 2005 polled cow sired by a Saler bull and her dam is a full-blooded white Shorthorn (Hillside Silver Joy 4061153). Sally's maternal grandsire was Shadybrook Royal Marc 32H which was the 1999 National Champion Shorthorn Bull. The heifer calf is out of CC Eagles Red Image C144 which was the 2006 Shorthorn Grand Champion Bull at the Tennessee Beef Agribition. The calf can be registered as a 3/4 Appendix Shorthorn heifer and is polled. She is an excellent show prospect Sally has had four previous calves (2 black/white bulls, one black heifer, and one red/roan bull.
Sally has been pasture-exposed to CC Eagles Red Image C144 again.
