Sale Catalogs

I am simply amazed by the difference in sale catalogs.  I received the Dream Girls catalog the other day (Thanks Kevin Mears) and I was so impressed that I had to show my wife.  Even she thought it was a little over the top but was equally impressed.  I very much enjoy looking over all the catalogs I receive, but in the end I prefer a downloadable pdf document that I can search and print if I want to take the catalog with me to the bathroom or to the sale.    I am sure the Dream Girls catalog is available as a pdf, but I have yet to check.  I very much dislike the dynamic catalogs or catalogs uploaded to websites that not offer a download or search.  I know that this has been discussed previously, but maybe not quite like this.  Any thoughts about catalogs and design.  Do they really generate more income or profit for the sellers?

Bud I'm right there with u. My wife is a graphic designer and I had to show her as well.  She said things that we over my head but then i heard wow where does all the money come from.  I cant say that thought hasn't cross my mind but hey it isn't my business.  I do enjoy sitting down reading these catalogs from page to page tho.  The plus is i think they just keep getting better. Mears and Rietor are doing a great job with these sales.  The art work is very nice as well. The funny thing is my wife can do just as good if not better.
