Semen Tank?

I am just a young buck, and starting to raise some cows, my dad said when i learned how to AI i could get a semen tank of my own(we use my uncles). I am learning to AI this spring so......
What size do i need for about  100 head herd?
How much do the cost new/ used?
Anything special I need to know?
How often do they need refilled?
Any other helpful information would be greatlly appreciated.

You best source of information is going to be one of the semen company reps.      They often have used tanks for sale or run specials on new tanks.  They can tell you when a tank needs refilled and many have routes to refill on a regular basis.

I bought mine on Ebay. It is a MVE XC 20 Millennium. It was brand new, shipped straight from the factory, and came with a 5 year warranty for only $500. It holds 720 straws and so far, "knock on wood", has been great. Go to ebay and search liquid nitrogen tanks. This same tank sells for $810 at the semen distributors. I would reccomend buying it on ebay. Trust me I was liery making that large of a purchase on ebay but it was worth ti.
