In general you will see about a 10-15% decrease while using sexed semen vs conventional.

Thank you for the reply.  I'm curious because I own a 2007 model high % maine cow.  Her heifer calves make good club calf mommas but her steers are just average.  Being a 2007 model, we'd like to get as many heifers out of her before she is done.  Yes we have considered flushing her but we haven't decided just yet.

My experience has been good with 3ml and 5 ml sexed semen.  But not good with the 2.1ml.
