Any suggestions on high % (3/4 or above) that are

1: red and white, homo or hetero polled (7/8, 15/16?)
2: homo solid, homo black, homo polled w blaze
3: Hetero Black, homo solid, homo polled, w blaze
4: other similar

Want to potentially breed to 3/4 maine, 1/4 simm

Bandwagon , just had one born that i'm real pleased with , will be breeding the cow back the same way and probably some ET work as well . Others on my list to use are Blaze of Glory and Broker .

Depends on what you're going for.
Commercial here, absolutely no show considerations... breeding mainly for high WW, as we sell weaned calves; but also selecting for high marbling, high REA and good Shear.

1. Solid red, rather than R/W - but WS All In W111 sired some great ones here... sad that we only got one heifer, but looking forward to seeing what she produces in the future.
2. Have several young cows/heifers in the herd now sired by Long's Shear Pleasure, a white-faced, homo black/polled 3/4-blood Hooks Shear Force 38K son.  Really like them; their steer counterparts were good. 
First PRS Blazin' Hot (homo black/polled white-face PB) daughters will be calving this spring... they may be the best looking bunch of heifers we've ever raised... a little concerned about low milk, but we'll see.
3. I'd like to try a round of Long's Damien... Shear ForceXLucky Man.
While we've been sort of stacking Shear Force, by using sons/grandsons, I'd still like to use some of the old bull himself... but probably won't ever get to that.

cool.  who would know if he's homo solid? owners? or another user who has spotted up cattle? anyone use him on holsteins?

Lucky give Tom a call, last I knew they had a bunch left on Shear Force. I still got a few units around waiting for perfect heifer to breed to.

Knabe I have not used him but on average you will find most I think of the Hook cattle are going to be white removers if the bull is not a baldy himself. Tom or Ed I'm sure could tell you how many generations solid breeding he is. http://www.hookfarms.com/hook-s-yukon
