Thought I would show you all some of our Simmental babies.
The first photo is a late February Amigo x Pacesetter cow, first calf heifer. He is a bull calf, and has an awesome temperament. We have a first calf Pacesetter and first calf Shear Force (Pacesetter's sire) and I would have a whole herd of them if I could! Best darn cows, milk like no tomorrow, and perfect udders!
The second photo is a March Dominator x Built Right cow. He is a twin to a heifer, and both calves have a hip that don't stop! I will use Dominator again. My only complaint about this 60 day old calf is he has NO neck. I hope he gets one because he is one nice bull!
The third shot is of the two bulls rear ends. I like that view
The fourth pic is the heifer I talked about in an earlier thread; not a great attitude. She is 1/2 simm, and a bunch of other stuff (beefmaster, horned herford, angus and commercial simm). She is OK, needs guts but has adequate muscle. Nothing special. She is also out of a first calf heifer (the cow in my avatar is her mom). She is a late October (born around Royal time).
The last one is a heifer we got last weekend. VERY SWEET! Needs some groceries, but will make a nice cow. She is a Brooks Warrior x Lucky Dice. She is a November.
Just had to share... When we get the others on halters I will take more photos. These were taken with my Droid...
