Thanks for all the positive comments!! We won't be showing in the Open Shorthorn show at the Iowa State Fair this year due to scheduling problems but we will have some really good calves for sale--especially if you are looking for a Shorthorn bull calf or Shorthorn Plus steer. The Tonic calf pictured is structurally very sound and extremely growthy (his full brother hit 800 lbs at 205 days last year). He should be an excellent bull prospect for anyone. We also have a TM Gus bull calf out of our Trump show heifer from last year. He got kind of a slow start(his mother tried to be the nursemaid for every calf in the pasture) but he's weaned and eating grain now so he is really starting to come on. We also have a smaller framed Money Man steer out of our Vegas show heifer that is really hairy, square made, and has a really eye catching color pattern. He'd be great for 4-H shows, etc. In fact, my grandnephew just showed him in the Bucket/Bottle class at our fair. He's pictured below.
We are also considering selling the Who Made Who heifer --she's got a really sweet disposition and just loves all the fuss associated with showing. I have to admit, she will be the hardest for my daughter to part with, though!!
