THis thread was inspired by CHambero and what he is calving. For all of us who bred for Spring babies or January etc by now we should know who is settled.
I am taking the leased clean up bull home this weekend. Looks like he may have only stuck one. YEAH!
We have

Amazon
Shockwave
Diamond LEggs 21 (4 cows)
Northern Improvement
Jake's Proud Jazz (2 cows)
Sonny Son out of a cherry cow I collected before I sold him
Final Solution(3 cows)

We start in February and end in April 30 if all goes well.

i have HW x Sim  My Turn x Wonder,  Point Taken x Maine Break, and Alias x Angus eggs coming
AI bulls are Monopoly, Point Taken, Unforgiven, Sunseeker, Alias, 1 bred to Red Hot and 1 Stout heifer bred to Stevensen Benchmark.  Cleaned up cows with Exclusive.
I am pretty excited but have put some faith in some unproven bulls this year and all but Sunseeker are new to my breeding program

We have calves due the first week of March by Dr Who, ArSuLu Tonic,Who Made Who(2),  Jakes Proud Jazz(2), TM Gus, and Money Man.  Our synch program worked really well this year!!!    April 1st we have another Money Man, another Who Made Who, and hopefully a couple of Vortec/Myrtle Bo embryos although I don't think either of the embryos took.  We will also have 2-3 calves out of our bull---- KC Chiefs Pride(Trump X Augusta Pride 330H).  We were very pleased with our calves this year so many of these will be full sibs to calves we have for sale right now.

This year we had great results with our embryo transfer program. We were 7 for 7 when we checked the first set of embryos. Three of them are going to be full sibs. to Black Jade. One is a Red Vision out of our shosthorn cow, two are Maximus out of our angus donor, and one is a heat wave out of a 734 cow. We also AI'ed to pale face, heat wave, dr. who. And the rest of our cows were either bred to our herd bulls Wayne ( Irish Whiskey x Draft Pick) or Rapid Cat ( Hannibal x Garten 3d's dam )

Jen -

What made you decide to use copyright?  And how many (and what kind of cows) did you use him on?

I just saw an ad for him and I'm thinking real hard about giving him a try.  I love that reported 21" ribeye measurement.  I'm thinking that kind of bull might do our kind of cows some good.  We bought a fairly pricey Anchor son this year that we'll use on Angus cows, but I'm thinking hard about trying Copyright on some of our bigger cross bred cows.

One of the niches I try to hit israising show steers that classify as Angus in Texas.  I'm thinking a bull like that might have a chance to work - and still help us move along toward constantly improving the commercial end of our business.

We have 6 coming all heat synced and AI bred on the same day. Had the vet "arm" them a couple weeks ago and all are pregnant. He estimated then at that time from 62 days to 48 days even though all were bred the same time.

2 Strictly Busines
1 Radioactive
1 Sin City
1 Paddy O Mally
1 Sunseeker

Out of 16 cows that we AI'd we got 11 stuck to:

1 - Duff New Attraction
4 - Coal Creek 430
1 - Dreamcatcher
1 - T510
2 - Ranchhand
1 - Northern Light
1 - Northern Improvement

The remainders, 7 in all got bred to a Goldmine son out of a Meyer/Angus cow.

The 18 at the other farm were bred to our herd bull who is a simangus.
