MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Three women have been arrested and charged with felony theft after Sheriff's Deputies got a tip they were stealing produce from local farms and selling it at a roadside stand.

Meigs County Sheriff Robert Beegle tells WSAZ.com a task force was able to set up surveillance in an area they heard the women would be stealing from. They caught the women and arrested them.

Beegle says the women had allegedly been stealing produce from the Letart and Lebanon Township areas in Meigs County. He says they were then setting up a roadside stand in Mason County where they were selling the produce.

Miller was released on a cash bond. Will was released on her own recognizance. McKenzie was transported to Athens County, Ohio where there was a warrant out for her arrest.
