Ok here is one from the late 80's one of my favorite albums..... Name song and band.

I said "Mama, he's crazy and he scares me
But I want him by my side
Though he's wild and he's bad
And sometimes just plain mad
I need him to keep me satisfied"

I said "Papa, don't cry cause it's alright
And I see you in some of his ways
Though he might not give me the life that you wanted
I'll love him the rest of my days"

Misguided angel hangin' over me
Heart like a Gabriel, pure and white as ivory
Soul like a Lucifer, black and cold like a piece of lead
Misguided angel, love you 'til I'm dead

I said "Brother, you speak to me of passion
You said never to settle for nothing less
Well, it's in the way he walks,
It's in the way he talks
His smile, his anger and his kisses"

I said "Sister, don't you understand?
He's all I ever wanted in a man
I'm tired of sittin' around the T.V. every night
Hoping I'm finding a Mr. Right"

Misguided angel hangin' over me
Heart like a Gabriel, pure and white as ivory
Soul like a Lucifer
Black and cold like a piece of lead
Misguided angel, love you 'til I'm dead

He says "Baby, don't listen to what they say
There comes a time when you have to break away"
He says "Baby there are things we all cling to all our life
It's time to let them go and become my wife"

Misguided angel hangin' over me
Heart like a Gabriel, pure and white as ivory
Soul like a Lucifer
Black and cold like a piece of lead
Misguided angel, love you 'til I'm dead

Red: You got it!! Figured I was the only one who had herd of them. Here is another

Daddy never sleeps at night
Well the kids don't eat
And the dogs can't sleep
There's no escape from the music
In the whole damn street
Now she's playin' all night
And the music's all right
Cows may come and cows may go but the BULL in this place goes on forever!

Was it Crazy, that ended up becoming huge for Patsy Cline?

Willie Nelson wrote hello walls I think. He was pretty much run out of nashville. He went to Austin, Texas where people like Waylon, Jerry Jeff Walker, Billie Joe Shafer, etc etc. found a niche in the outlaw country. One time I went to a concert in Ellis , Ks where jerry jeff was playing. There were roughnecks(oil field workers) on one side of the bar and cowboys on the the other side. I figured all hell was going to break loose. Before the the night was over everbody was slapping each other on the back and singing ?? in the wind. Who wrote the song Mr. Bo Jangles while he was in jail. The nitty gritty dirt bad made a hit of it. How about "And the grownups would tell us, you boys keep your distance, the old man's just telling you lies. But to all of us kidsCowboy Bill was a hero just as blue as the west texas skies". How about " I told you once you son of a gun I'm the best that's ever been". How about There is a young cowboy that lived on the range.... his horse and the cattle his only companion's. He worked on the plains and slept in the canyons. Dreaming of women and glasses of beer. Something, something,.
