personally it feels like these crossbred steers have made it really hard for a papered angus steer to go and compete unless they are being shown by breed... thus the question
Just a thought but Hair may sell cattle... but you sure as heck aren't going to eat it and it sure as heck doesn't make a steer or heifer any sounder or more productive (in a heifers case)... something to consider...

Idk about your "There is so many straight black Angus back in this country that a lot of people are looking for susbstitute" you look into the club calf and you see ALOT of angus blood in these cattle. Monopoly is into the 60%+ angus catagory... don't think they are looking for a substitute
Never have saw BIM my guess is BIM was bigger at the same age. Be pretty hard to find one smaller than Ohio Senator was back in Feb and to be honest didn't seem to have a whole lot of signs to get a ton bigger.
