Just would like some opinions on this shorthorn bull calf. He was born in march and is a creole son.

I induced one of my cows this year cause she went 8 days over her date and i gave her 25cc of dexamethazone and 5cc of lute and she calved about 16 hours later. Just make sure on your date. Good luck

So when you guys are weaning your calves early, have they been on creep feed? If so when did you put the creep feeder in with the calves?

If your 100% sure that she can only calve to that date i would wait until the 5th or 6th day then if she hasn't calved then induce her. I also had a cow go 6 days past her due date and she was breed to asset so i did induce her and she calved the next day and everything is fine. <rock>

I use Steakmaker Grower. I have had good luck with it.

yep protein pellets.

200lbs of corn, 200lbs of pellets, and 600lbs of oats. Make sure they still get hay and you shouldn't have any problems.
