I think I remember your sons calf....didn't you post some fair pictures of him recently?? Anyways I do agree with the above post...Lifeline's are hard feeders... meaning it takes more feed to get em fat. They also like to grow alot and after they grow to much you will never get them finished...

Its by far my favorite fly repelent. Works great, easy to apply, and it leaves to residues and such.

My steer is in the cold box right now, and is fat. Hes fully covered over his ribs. he weighs 1230lbs. and we have 50 days till fair. He lacks lower quarter muscle expression and needs more" pop" to his hip, being a shorthorn. Would this product work for him?? Another question is will it strip...

Whats everyones opinion on Opti-flex or show cattle explosion products for enhancing muscle on steers? How much of a degree does it affect the soundness of a steer. What if you used a joint supplement along with it.???

I know he is a well respected hog judge, but have any of you seen him judge a steer show? He is  judging our steer and hog show at our fair this year and would like some feedback on what he likes?

Whats everyones feeding routine when calves are in the cooler? What are your opinions about full feeding the whole ration at nite when turned out, with no grain during the day? I'm asking because my calves are not eating their morning feeding when in the cool barn? Also what do you do when...

Anybody use rooster booster liquid B-12 on their cattle. If so how much do you administer orally? I am having a hard time converting the "poultry" amount to a appropriate amount for steers. thanks.

Every year I  have plenty of hair. As far as genetics, I have good genetics and good hair in winter. Both calves are Heatwave and Hollywood bred. I want hair that will set me apart from the other calves at the show...that leg hair that gives me the look you know. It seems like my swamp cooler...

I have been thinking about my cold box, which currently has a swap cooler, fans, insulated walls, and is 12x12. In the past i only had one calf in there and at its worst it gets up to 70 degrees, but this year I plan on growing hair on two calves. My concern is that its going to get to hot in...
