    Hair product???

I am pretty sure the original poster here is no longer looking for answers as I am quite sure that five years later they are done showing the calf.  This thread was strictly brought back up by someone trying to sell a product.

    Simmental bull EXCALIBER

Romax I can not tell you anything about the bull's calves.  However I just wanted to be sure you knew that you would not be able to register any of the calves out of angus or maine cows in Canada as half bloods if that makes any difference to you.

Favorite calves of yours this year

Okotoks, I would really like to see a recent picture of 11W's heifer calf from last year that you showed with her at Agribition.  I kind of fell in love with that calf even if the judge did not love the pair.

    Sandycreek Ivor 83SH611

Here is an attempt at a picture of Justintime's, Sandy Creek Ivor bull.  It probably is not going to show up very good as it was scanned from a almost 30 year old black and white magazine.

Photo of SM bull GW-CPL Red Alert

Here is the only picture that I can recall ever seeing.  I am curious why you are looking for a picture of him.

    Nose Ring for my Steer?

You are saying the steer is head shy and if your definition is at all the same as mine I would not even consider a permanent nose ring for this reason.  I have seen a number of bulls that getting a nose ring will cause them to become somewhat head shy and I have never seen it improve one in that...

    Meyers Blacktop

Here is the most common picture of Blacktop.  There was also a picture of him as a yearling that he looked better in but I would have to do more searching to find it. I also found Blacktop to be an interesting bull as from the picture I could not see why anyone would consider using him but I...

    Calf that won't eat

In the morning before taking the calf away from the cow I would try putting the pair together in a small pen about 10 x 10 or 12 x 12.  Then give the cow a few pounds of the feed you are trying to start the calf on preferably in a feed pan similar to what you are feeding the calf in if the pan...

    Shorthorn semen

Tamarack have you looked at the Saskvalley Yesterday bull that Semex has in their new catalog.  They are promoting him as calving ease and he appears to have decent numbers and is quite reasonably priced at only $20 a unit.  I thought he looked good in the picture.  One thing in the catalog they...

    New Trausch Farms Bull

I would also be curious how his embryo transplant program turned out where he was going to implant eggs in May into 16 recips that calved in April.

    Info on Red Angus Bulls

Worthabit, I have seen quite a few Lazy MC Hustle calves more bulls than heifers.  Overall I have been quite impressed with the calves.  They all seem to have good hair and I feel are structurally correct as a whole.  Where I have seen the calves they do not hesitate to recommend the Hustle sons...
