I have a heifer out of phidons get serious and a sim/redangus cow. her faults a little high in the shoulders and kicks out a bit in the hocks. looking for something suitable for heifer breeding with excellent structure. I was leaning toward white jazz but interested in what others would recommend.

Well I made the decision to breed her this morning . We went with a pure shorthorn that way if it’s a heifer she can be registered. Praying for that

I want to raise show quality calves for my kids projects. they want to show shorthorn or shorthorn + . we have a angus heifer and first calf sim/red angus cow we what to breed . looking for a good bull who is free as well as a calving ease bull. any help with selection would be great

as for our steer he has zero hair right now. but when I got him in the spring he had nice thick hair so it should be good by our spring show

our heifer has been in 3 shows . and every one of them the judge has said if I had to pick a heifer to put in a pasture and raise calves he would pick her but then give it to a club calf looking heifer I don't get it. and they usually follow up with her needing to show more power for there reason

ok I have a 700 pound steer . I am feeding him a 13.79% protein 2.5% fat grower ration he will eat 15 pounds a day also on free choice hay and grass . he is not gaining at all only put on 5 pounds in a month . any help would be great
