I have a heifer out of phidons get serious and a sim/redangus cow. her faults a little high in the shoulders and kicks out a bit in the hocks. looking for something suitable for heifer breeding with excellent structure. I was leaning toward white jazz but interested in what others would recommend.

both our steer and heifer always get the same comment about needing to show more power. what the heck does that mean exactly from what I can tell they need more butt or width in the hips I am assuming that's what the judges are taking about . feeding them 12% protein 4.5% fat and top dressing...

ok I have a 700 pound steer . I am feeding him a 13.79% protein 2.5% fat grower ration he will eat 15 pounds a day also on free choice hay and grass . he is not gaining at all only put on 5 pounds in a month . any help would be great

ok I was looking at making a ration using grand 4t fyer but using at the suggested rate of 20% the protein is very high for what most around me feed as a finishing ration . but looking at the actual show chow feeds they are high aswell . others around me say to use a 10 to 11 percent protein...
