If you are using sexed semen I would go conventional.  IVF is either a home run or really bad in my experience and quite a bit more expensive.  You should get more embryos going conventional with slightly better conception rates and less cost.

Jose is a purebred Maine and Daddy's Money is a 3/4 blood. You can look up extended pedigrees on the Maine website, both have excellent ced and bw epd's.  I would not call them crossed up mongrels.

Had this happen yesterday, two cows calved right next to each other and each wanted to claim both calves, I think we got the right calf with the right cow but who knows for sure.  One was bred for power and the other calving ease so the smaller one went with the calving ease cow.
