In theory...different breeds are developed for different uses. 1.Durham Reds  2.Red Angus  3.Shorthorns  4.Gelbviehs and simmis(they were developed on the same mountain) 5.Angus

How did I know that was coming (lol), everyone gets to have there own preference

[/quote  I agree, so ong as it's a red or black Galloway. Even with endophyte-infected fescue and hot summers, Ol' Cecil Meek had a set of cows that were half Angus/ half Galloway, that were shaggy as Hiland cattle in January and slick as Brangus in June. Wonder what a red Galloway sire and a Dover Ranch Shorthorn dam would produce? ;) ;)

I like like limousines and salers but I can only chose 5.

But simmental is my most favorite. :)

If you have the cows, I have semen on two black bulls that are red carriers, we could find out.  ;)
