here's some pics of my girls and calves...jpj influenced...from daughters to great granddaughters...the black and blue females are out of purebred cows and an angus bull...will be breeding whole herd to the bull pictured this year...once I get these black and blues calved out a time or two, plans are to go back and hit the whole herd with Canadian to add some more purebreds....

(clapping) A 3/4 bull you bred would look great on all of that stock too. Smart for using papered black bulls Linnette

the blacks and blues are half angus half shorthorn ...ill end up with 7 or 8 when its all said and done, not sure how many ill keep this year...love love love this cross!  every calf the past 3 years has been born unassisted!  100% live calf crop! its been super easy! (knock on wood)

STEVIE WONDER COULD SEE HOW GOOD THOSE X BREDS ARE-PRETTY WELL BLOW AWAY EVERYTHING IVE SEEN ON HERE-AND THE WHOLE MONGREL THEORY.Are you gonna put that daddys money on any of the older roans etc? O0 O0

thanks mark...the whole herd is getting the mac Frederick bull...he's 60% angus, rest maine...had to come up with a new bull this year, we had used the purebred angus for 3 years and his daughters are ready to breed...im excited about him and think he will work nicely on the heifers...after they get a calf or two on the ground (and I'm set up to AI) I'm going to hit the whole herd with major Leroy and touchdown...

Hes probably the biggest footed most sound and high performing bull available from that type of breeding-He aughta put some grow in the equation too O0 O0

I don't usually love JPJ cattle, but LJ knows she can sell any bred heifers or 3 year olds that she doesn't want to a place right up in IL.

Stellar cattle.

That's interesting because I'm generally not fond of JPJ cattle either. What I have thought was that there in general was not enough performance to them.
The heifers that she offered for sale last year were very good quality. I was trying to find a home for those close to here so that I could track those cattle.
