I believe it was Lot 124.  He brought $53,000 if I remember correctly.  My favorite was Lot 84.  There were some  good steers at the sale by Walks Alone and Escalade.

There was one for 61,000, 54,000 and 18,000 were they all sold in the same sale?

I don't remember one bringing 61,000 at that sale.  Lot 124 was the high seller at 53,000 or maybe 54,000 and I believe Lot 84 was next.  I have this all written down at home but not with me.

The 61k was bid off before the sale privately.  He would one of the calves Goodson is showing, if I'm not mistaken.

O ok got you...........so they had a private treaty bid off before the sale? Just on that one steer or what was the deal?

Kris always sells his steers private treaty before he ever has the late March sale.  Most of the calves that wind up in the March sale are a little younger and/or calves raised by his breeding cattle customers.

how do you bid something off before the sale? 

Put that kind of money on the table and there all for sale
